If you are interested in purchasing technology
from WITs, here is the procedure you can expect. (This is according to
Sterling Allan, and may be a little different in actuality.) March 10,
2003.
- You must be a serious entity with liquid capital available and adequate
engineering staff to develop this technology through to manufacturing.
The technologies have been proven, but not refined for manufacturing.
Nor are they patented. That will be up to you once you purchase the
technology.
- Contact WITs to express your interest
and intent to purchase a technology.
- Decide upon the technology or technologies that you wish to purchase, and
the terms of the purchase contract. WITs will expect your contract to
be one or two pages only.
- Expect to pay around $10,000 USD into escrow to reimburse WITs for
building a prototype of the technology variant you wish to purchase.
This will usually take from one to two months.
- Once the prototype has been built, you then bring your engineers to
independently test the prototype. If it performs as specified in your
contract, then the $10,000 escrow payment is immediately conveyed to WITs.
You can then sign your purchase contract with WITs. You should be
prepared to pay the full purchase amount up front, or at least half, for
anywhere between $10 million USD or $300 million USD, depending on the
technology you purchase.
- You then obtain your own patent if desired, develop the technology for
manufacturing, manufacture, and market worldwide as you see fit. It's
yours.
