Sterling Have you considered introducing Patterson to [***] ? They both have the same problem with conducting absurd and meaningless experiments They use the [***] method of lets find some one-time uncontrolled, unrepeatable, and undocumented environment (like a gas station with a sloped lot) and come up with a totally unsupportable (and unbelievable) result that has no explanation (or witnesses). In the process they create their own scientific principles, methods, and jargon, and befuddle a few innocent non-scientific bystanders. This is such a disservice to the public, and an insult to even give them air-time! If he is sincere, (and smart) Patterson would have a respected independent credible lab, (or university) test his device under defined and controlled conditions, and report their findings. This would include (as a minimum) testing the van first over the same course and conditions without the device, and then repeated with it installed, and then repeated again under the original conditions. This should be done on several vehicles and then tested in a wind tunnel, if anything meaningful materialized. See also
