FreeEnergyNews has been providing a daily news service since Sept. 6, 2002. We have enjoyed a constant and gradually increasing pool of loyal visitors who check in on us regularly to see what the latest news is in the world of Free Energy. We've gone from a steady 309 page loads per day on the home page in Oct. 2002, to 399 per day in Oct. 2003, 1392 per day in Oct. 2004, and most recently, 2107 per day in Sept. 2005. Site-wide, today we are seeing around 9,100 page loads a day.

It's still a humble beginning for what we hope will be a much more popular study as more people realize the importance of pursuing clean, reliable, renewable energy technologies.

Now, as we celebrate our one millionth full page load on the home page of our site, we would like to offer a little prize to whoever it is that ends up pulling up the 1,000,000th full page load.

If that happens to be you, then do a screen grab, send us the image, along with your mailing address, and we'll send you a check for $25.00. Of course we would love to see you spend that at our Alt Energy Store.

Since there is a good chance that the person who pulls up the millionth page load will not actually realize they might have won, we will accept entrants from those who come close, and will award the prize to the closest runner up if the spot-on winner does not submit their claim within a week.

Bruce A. Perreault of New Energy Industries came in second, pulling up the page for the 1,000,001st time at "2:29 pm" Central time. He will also receive a small prize for submitting his entry.

How to do a screen grab:

Pull up the counter image so it is displaying on your screen.
Press the "PrtScn" button on your keyboard (usually to the right of the F1-12 buttons). {This copies the screen image into your copy/paste queue.}
Go to an image composing/editing software package on your computer, such as Paint.
Select "Paste" {You will see the image appear}
Save the image.
Send us an email with the image attached, along with your mailing address.
