Subject: HJ motor.
Hello Sterling, I'm interested in building the 150 HP Howard Johnson motor. I'll need some help with the specs in order to accomplish this project. I want to get it perfect the first time since it will be expensive. However, I'm committed to this project and I want to be able to add a generator to the motor and power my home. This is my first goal in establishing an energy research entity. I want to be able to contribute to the elimination of fossil fuel dependence. I've been in the oil and gas industry for 25 years and it will most assuredly become a monetary drain on our society in the near future. It is time to do the right thing and find an alternative energy source that will be free of pollutants and preserve a green way of life. Best regards, Stan Garman <stan_garman@yahoo.com> Sterling, This is fantastic. Thanks a lot for your help and concern. I'm also concerned with controlling the beast once it is built and hopefully works. The reason for this concern is because of the load variances on the generator that the HJ motor will drive. For instance; heating and cooling, etc. I'm a control systems specialist and I specialize in process controls and power distribution so you can see my concern with load modulation. I think this project will be something that will make people realize there are solutions at hand. Maybe even move commercial and residential into a micro-distribution stage of development instead of grid power distribution. As you can tell I'm quite enthusiastic about this project. At any rate, I must return to work. And again thank you for your assistance. Best regards, Stan Garman <stan_garman@yahoo.com> Contact
