Dear Sterling,

Please find attached a simple graphic of the perpendicular model as discussed by Ron Goodger. I had this idea years ago in a dream but never bothered to build it. It was not until I got the more recent and urgent "vision" of the one I built that it even came to mind and I contemplated building it but decided to go with the one that was more "impressed" upon me. One may clearly see that the traversing arc is indicative of a spiral vortex. It remains to be seen at this time if "regauging" can be accomplished with this particular model, however, the dynamics seem promising.
