Big Talker Award:

"I've known Paul for about 20 years.  He is always talking about some huge development about to unfold that he is involved with.  Most of the time nothing happens."
(Told in phone conversation to Sterling Allan on March 20, by a source who will remain anonymous.)

"It's always 'next week' some huge demo is going to happen, but 'next week' never happens.  He's told me that at least 15 times." (someone else)

"He's told me that 500 times!" (yet someone else)

  • "Fuel-Injected Lunatic" - Salt Lake City Weekly cover story features the plight of GEET inventor, Paul Pantone, who remains incarcerated on dubious charges.  The publication happened to coincide with the annual ExtraOrdinary Technology conference, frequented by Pantone in years past. (July 26, 2007)
  • GEET Problems (new) - Documenting instances in which Paul Pantone and GEET operated in an unethical way, such as not refunding requests for money-back, not providing services as advertised, and other fraudulent transactions. (PESWiki)
  • George Gaboury on Paul Pantone (mp3; 7.2 mb) - The author of the recent definitive article on Paul Pantone is interviewed by James Arthur Jancik. Pantone's trials, jailings, and mental hospital journey has earmarks of high-level snubbing of a disruptive fuel efficiency technology. (Feet to the Fire; Apr. 23, 2007)
  • Los Alamos Plasma in GEET's Shadow - Steve Elswick of TeslaTech points out that the Los Alamos plasma-assisted combustion provides profound mainstream documentation of what Paul Pantone has been promoting for years, out in the 'fringes' (for which he is presently incarcerated). (PESN; Sept. 1, 2006)
  • Management of GEET while Pantone is in jail - At least two people are handling the management of the company and the disbursement of its various documents for sale while the inventor is incarcerated. (PESN; Feb. 4, 2006)
  • Paul Pantone Incarcerated (ID 210183) - Booked into the Salt Lake County Metro Jail, Dec. 12, 2005 on charges of "securities fraud*WJ**Utah State Hospital Commitment in PKT*.  Court case 021400621, Judge R. Hansen. (; as of Jan. 31, 2006)
  • Pantone subjected to involuntary psychiatric treatment by court order, including forced drug administration (OSEN; Dec. 13, 2005)
  • Pantone's Legal Battles - GEET inventor, Paul Pantone, is publishing a "legal battles" index on his website.  PESWiki has published a page to allow named parties to respond if they feel they are misrepresented. (PESN; Sept. 19, 2005)
  • Paul posts a legal battles page on his website to document wrongdoings against himself and GEET. (Sept. 17, 2005)
    • Answer to Paul Pantone's Charges of Wrongdoing - Page created as a counterpart to Paul Pantone's "legal battles" page on his website where he is documenting wrongdoings against himself and his GEET company. To provide an opportunity for fair representation of the parties involved. (Sept. 17, 2005)

  • DOJ Files Civil Action Against MagCorp for PCB Violations - Leading U.S. polluter, US Magnesium Corporation of Salt Lake City, has been on the EPA's list as the largest toxic air polluter in the country. Though it emissions have improved, they are still significant. Pantone said he demonstrated the successful burning of some of their emissions for energy and clean-up, but they declined to integrate the technique. (PESN; May 12)

  • Everyone Wants the Plans, But Few are Willing to Pay - Paul Pantone laments the lack of shared responsibility for shouldering the financial burden of bringing forth new technology.

Charges of Fraud

I am aware that Paul Pantone is under investigation by UT Attorney General's office  and has charges filed against him.  My overall impression is that GEET (from which Pantone is now divested) is a genuine business venture, with real product.  I've seen their devices in action.  Perhaps they have not been that great in how they have handled their financial affairs, but I have some empathy there.  Enthusiastic over estimating deadlines and abilities is one thing, outright misrepresentation for illicit gain is another.  I do not believe that Pantone or GEET are guilty of the latter. -- Sterling D. Allan

ADVISORY: With any technology, you take a high risk to invest significant time or money unless (1) independent testing has thoroughly corroborated the technology, (2) the group involved has intellectual rights to the technology, and (3) the group has the ability to make a success of the endeavor.
All truth passes through three stages:
   First, it is ridiculed;
Second, it is violently opposed; and
Third, it is accepted as self-evident.
